Kick-off for the aces cycle 2011/2012
More than 200 students and teachers from 103 schools and 15 countries
25-29 September 2011, Sarajevo

For the first time, the Bosnian capital of Sarajevo will be the venue for the kick-off meeting of aces, the Academy of Central European Schools, which is one of the largest international school networks involving 15 EU and non-EU partner countries.

Every year, a school competition is carried out. The topic of this year’s call was Volunteering. 299 schools submitted their project proposals; an international jury selected the best 45 partnership projects involving 103 schools which now receive an aces grant. The schools will be supported during the project implementation and will be invited to international network meetings like the one in Sarajevo.

We had the chance to meet our partner and to talk about developing our project.

The meeting was very interesting and the used methods were also innovative.

And, of course, after hard work we had also some fun together!
